Summerhill path deviation  - alternative route

As there is no other practical footpath than the one I describe, a short detour is necessary if the path in question is blocked at its junction with the road. So instead, carry on downhill past the blocked path until a crossroads is reached. (A ) Here turn right and follow a narrow but thankfully quiet lane until a fingerpost is seen on the right (B). Follow this to a track then bear half-left to continue along the footpath until a path crossroads is reached ( C). Here turn right and follow the path until it reaches a junction, here turning left to regain the original route prior to the path junction mentioned. Another alternative - if  you would rather not negotiate the footpaths! - is to simply follow the lane until  a junction is reached at (E), the road being called White Leaved Oak. Here turn right and follow this very narrow lane until the route is rejoined.

I would be most grateful if anyone finding the path unblocked and restored could email me here. Thanks!

Latest news July 08 - this ground does not belong to Eastnor Estate, I have contacted the adjoining Bromsberrow Estate to see if I can get to the bottom of things - watch this space!
