Some places to stay in and around Malvern

The following are names and addresses of various places to stay in the area. Please note that it's up to you to sort out bookings etc., and that I can't be held reponsible for the suitability of any of the places listed. That said, I'm sure that they're all fine and you'll have a pleasant stay. Any hoteliers, B&B owners and so on who would like to be included please email your details to me by clicking here - there's no cost to you. If you wish to include photos please make sure they are in .jpg format, thanks. I'd recommend also giving Cottages4you a look-at - they specialise in properties for holidays from single bedroom cottages up to palatial country residences!

If you're looking for places to stay (and walks!) outside the Malverns area, Click Here!  Nowhere near Malvern but what great walking country!

Wyche Keep. Contact Christopher Williams at wychekeep@aol.com or visit their website at http://www.malvernhillsaccommodation.co.uk

Another place to stay, just outside Malvern in the quiet village of Leigh Sinton (easy to get to!) is Chirkenhill Farm, details below - click the link to go to their own website. Sarah Wenden Chirkenhill Farm www.chirkenhill.co.uk 01886 832205

Click below for places to stay in The Cotswolds!

If you're looking for somewhere that's on the Worcestershire way, try contacting Sue Stringer at Cowleigh park farm, a B&B just a stones throw from the Malverns. Their website is www.cowleighparkfarm.co.uk or email to cowleighpark@ukonline.co.uk

Here's a place that comes by way of a recommend from someone who has stayed there. It's called Harmony House and is on the Western slopes of the Malvern Hills close to footpaths and the Worcestershire Beacon. Contact Catherine on 01684 891650 or take a look at their website by clicking here. (I particularly liked the button labelled 'smoking dogs'. Worth a look just to investigate that!) There's a couple of pics below to give you an idea of the place.

The Old Plough B&B at Longdon, near Tewkesbury (below), isn't exactly in the Malvern Hills but is in a great position if you want to stay mid-way between the Malverns and the Cotswolds. It looks a great place (see pic below) - visit their website by clicking here or call them for info and bookings on 01684 833767.

Again, not exactly on the doorstep but certainly not far away, the Falcon hotel at Stratford-upon-Avon is ideally placed for outings into the Cotswolds and of course The Malvern Hills area. For further information please click here.

Do give Countrywalkers a mention if you contact any of the above, especially if you book a stay, thanks.

And there's more. Certainly worth a look is Hillcrest cottage, details of which can be found by clicking here. It's situated at Brimscombe, a few miles South-East of Stroud and looks to be in beautiful surroundings. Again, not too near the Malverns but certainly within an hour's drive. Hillcrest Cottage and its surrounds are pictured below.
